How to make french toast:

Looking for something quick and easy to stir up for breakfast or even as a midnight snack? Well, a quick and easy solution would be to make french toast! French toast is a simple yet delicious option because it’s easy to make. So enough chit-chat, let’s get to cooking!

 

Things you’ll need:

  1. Bread of your choice
  2. 2 Eggs
  3. A Pie plate, bowl, or a square Tupperware container, just use something that’ll make dipping your bread easy.
  4. ¼ cup of milk
  5. 1 tsp of sugar
  6. ⅛ tsp of cinnamon
  7. Pinch of salt, or an ⅛ tsp of salt
  8. A tsp of vanilla extract
  9. Fork or whisk 
  10.  Butter or oil

 

Steps:

  • In your container, crack in your 2 eggs and beat (mix) them until smooth
  • Pour in your milk, sugar, cinnamon, salt, vanilla
  • Then whisk or stir until everything is well combined
  • Grab your bread slices and dip them in your mixture but make sure to fully drench your bread because it’ll become soggy~Just enough to cover both sides.
  • In your pan or pot, whatever works best for you, add some butter or oil to the pan: About a Tbsp.
  • If you use butter, wait till the butter browns slightly then you’ll know if it’s ready to cook you toast, then cook each side of your toast until golden brown, and if you’re using oil try adding a drop of your mixture into the pan to see if it sizzles, if so it’s ready to start cooking
  • Have fun and enjoy your french toast with some syrup! 

 

Something you could also do is add some fruits on the side or even on the french toast to add a little something extra. Hope this entertained you!

How to make sugar cookies:

Have you ever just craved some simple yet easy cookies? Well, try these sugar cookies and it’s sure to hit your sweet tooth! 

 

Things you’ll need:

  1. 2 ¾ of flour
  2. 1 teaspoon baking powder
  3. ½ teaspoon baking soda
  4. 1 cup, completely softened butter *Make sure its mushy, not melted*
  5. 1 ½ of white sugar
  6. 1 egg
  7. 1 tsp of vanilla extract
  8. 2 large bowls
  9. Spatula
  10.  Spatula or Fork

 

Steps:

  • In the first large bowl, mix together all the dry ingredients
  • In the other bowl, cream together your butter and sugar until smooth, then beat in vanilla and your egg
  • After all the ingredients are mixed, gradually pour in the dry ingredients, and then fold it in with your spatula, then eventually you’ll be able to fold with your hands.
  • Next make teaspoon sized dough balls and place them on an un-greased baking sheet and bake for 8-10 minutes at 375
  • BE CAREFUL not to burn yourself!
  • After, let the cookies cool and enjoy!
