How-to calm down easy

I’m just saying, not all of these will work depending on the person.


I’ve learned to use my senses when calming down. Name five things you can see, four things you can feel, three things you can hear, two things you can smell and one thing you can taste. I don’t know where i found this but it really helps me!


Breathing can be very helpful as well. Breath in for five seconds then breath out for five more. When you take a deep breath it sends a message to your brain to calm down.


Drink water! I know this sounds weird but water can be soothing. It can’t reduce anxiety completely but it helps.
