How to…

While I’ve been in quarantine I have learned how to cook and bake. So how do you bake? It’s really not that hard. I’m going to tell you how to bake banana bread, personally my favorite thing to bake. So basically you need to get all the ingredients, three bowls, and a bread pan. In one bowl you whisk together 1 stick of softened butter with 1 cup of sugar until light and fluffy, then you add in 2 eggs. In the next bowl you add 1 ½ cups of flour, 1 teaspoon of baking soda, and ½ teaspoon of salt. In the last bowl you will have to mush three bananas  ( the bananas have to be brown for them to be soft) then you will add 1/2 cup of sour cream lastly add 1 tsp of vanilla. After the last bowl you will combine everything together in one bowl. If you want you can add 1 cup of chopped walnuts into the mix. Pour mixture into the bread pan and bake for 50-55 minutes. Also don’t forget to preheat your oven to 350. When done you can serve the bread with butter or ice cream. Another fun thing to make that taste really good fudge brownies. First you will need 3 quarters of unsalted butter in a small pot. Wait for the butter to malt.  In another bowl you need half a cup of flour, 3 quarters of cocoa powder half a teaspoon of salt, one and a half of espresso powder whisk it together well. In a separate bowl one in a quarter cup of sugar add melted butter whisk together well 2 whole eggs whisk together add cocoa mix to the melted butter mix. Mix all together well until completely smooth. Cut 4 oz of chocolate but chocolate in the mix and fold it together. Add the mix in a pan. Spread brownies out. Preheat the oven to 350. Bake for 35-35 minutes. Let brownies cool. Then cut the brownies and then you’re done. Baking is actually not that hard; you just need a good recipe to follow and have patience and your food will turn out amazing. Making food homemade is so much better from making out of it from the box. When you make it homemade it’s always better because you made it. So in all baking is a lot of fun to do while you are stuck at home for a couple of weeks and I encourage you to do it.
